Driving In?

Free general parking for Purdue Aviation Day 2025 is available in two locations near the Purdue University Airport. We encourage traffic traveling northbound on US-231 to use the North Lot, and traffic traveling southbound on US-231 to use the South Lot. All other traffic coming from campus is encouraged to use the North Lot. Due to the size of our event, free parking is on a first come, first served basis. Paid parking is available at the Harrison Street Parking Garage with a free shuttle to the event.

South Lot: Guests arriving Southbound on US-231 On the navigation app of your choice, get directions to the “Purdue University Airport” in West Lafayette. Follow the road signage to turn right onto Airport Road. Volunteers will be wearing safety vests and Purdue Aviation Day shirts and holding bright orange marshalling wands to direct traffic to the parking lot and into spaces. Once parked, there is a pedestrian path to the event entrance or limited golf cart transportation available as needed.

Accessible Parking: Guests who need additional parking space For any Purdue Aviation Day guest who requires additional parking space for accessibility needs, including families with small children, individuals using wheelchairs or mobility devices, or elderly guests, designated parking is available in the AERO lot next to the event entrance. On the navigation app of your choice, get directions to the “Purdue University Airport” in West Lafayette. Follow the road signage to turn right onto Airport Road and then follow the blue “Accessible Parking” signs into the parking lot.

We encourage you to use the shuttle as the walk to the event is about 30 minutes from this location.
